Round 3
What a week!
Work has been manic this week so I didn’t manage to get my Whittaker fiction entry written. I’d started something but didn’t want to get another hideous score by not having time to edit properly. I’ll get a 0 but that’s ok.
I had already written and submitted the poem so fingers crossed for that one.
Need to consider if I’m going to submit my Dorrie’s poem for publication. Not had any feedback on it though. Ah well, you’ve got to be brave sometime.
Not done anymore on the script but will try and do some more later.
May til August I’m dropping one day at work so hoping that I will achieve lots more with my writing.

Round 2 results
Well the round 2 Whittaker results are out and my poem did OK. Same marks as last time at least and midway on the scoreboard. Just got judge’s comment and they are pretty spot on, will have to reconsider the end.
Fiction not so good, barely scraped half marks and I’m right at the bottom of the scoreboard. I will suck it up and post it for comment, after I get the judges comments, who knows maybe it just needed to be longer!!!
But, I enjoyed writing both and I think my head is just not up to intricate story plotting at the moment.
No more pages on my Script, have a nasty chest infection so not felt up to much. I did do a bit of sorting through receipts and journals today so feel more cleansed. Will try and tackle some more of my script and my round 3 story over the weekend, just wonder if I’ll go higher or lower next round.

Productive Bank Holiday Weekend
Well, I do like this not being at work lark. It does wonders for the creativity.
I have my round 3 Whittaker poem finished and sent (round closes 17th April).
I have my round 3 Whittaker story half drafted (will probably end up cutting that one a little finer).
Also have my poem for Dorrie’s challenge on Slingink all sent – on the theme of new fairytales.
And typed up 16 pages of my April ScriptFrenzy Script. Some of it is adapting from a part written novel but some willl be writing fresh. Given myself the target of 20 pages by the end of today.
Also plan to tidy today though so we will wait and see about that one.
