Watching ‘One Born Every Minute’
has made me decide that,
when the time comes,
(which is not (nowhere near) now
for those who may wonder)
I want a water birth.

My reasoning for this
has nothing to do with
the potential reduction
of pain or to create a
future Olympic swimming
champion but to save
the NHS money on
tissues and I can fill
the pool with my tears.

I’m not sure whether the
new little one or me
will be the bigger
cry baby.
