I lie gripping the covers to my chin
as the door rattles;
I swear all the windows are shut
but the wind invades.
I shiver
and think of those with no walls and doors
it’s their bones that rattle.

What a Dish

silver, sparkling sheen
outside and
inside items cleaned,
this machine
will save me time
will hide the dirty
until it is ready
to shine

Sadly disappointed with my recent purchase

but I will persevere.

Others gave up and went to bed ;o)

Will I follow?
